To be completely honest with you guys.
As I am writing this, it is now the 14th of March.
I have still been selling pretty consistently, but between my silly little part time job and eBay I’ve not had a lot of spare time to come back to this.
I didn’t sell a lot this week, couple of DVD’s a pair of shorts and a pair of cargo pants for about $18 profit.
I did find a couple of plush toys for $1 each.
The first one was a vintage Mr. Squiggle toy that I put up for auction and ended up selling for $45 plus shipping.
This is also the week I decided to expand my inventory, and picked up some running shoes and some hair tools.
All of the reseller videos I had watched had all said these were good sellers.
A month later I have only sold one hair straightener, but I did make $35 profit.
So I guess they are good sellers, just not necessarily fast sellers.
So at the end of my first month, I had made roughly $150 profit.
I was still feeling pretty disheartened at this point.
So I decided I would try promoting all of my listings.
I promoted them all at 2 or 3% which just means that if someone find that listing because eBay is promoting it and decides to buy it, you pay an extra percentage to eBay.
I was pretty skeptical, all of the Facebook pages were saying it wasn’t worth doing. But after what happened in week 5. I will never stop promoting my listings.
14th of February. Week 4.
