This is the week my boyfriend decided he wanted in on the money making.
Well kind of, we’re going on holiday in September and he asked if I could sell some of his things to help boost our savings for said holiday.
We picked out a couple of DVD’s and then we went to the video games.
He was hesitant at first, but then I started checking the sold comps on some of the titles he had and he was in.
He always said he was only holding onto them because he knew they would be worth money one day, and today was that day.
So this week I sold.
3 Pieces of clothing for about $20 profit.
A vintage Nancy Drew book that sold internationally for almost $10 profit.
One of my old video games Dante’s Inferno on PS3 (This is a good one to look out for, it sells for about $25-30 if it’s complete with manual) for $20 profit.
I also sold that VS Sassoon Big Hair Styler complete in box this week for $35 profit.
Now anything of my boyfriends that I sell, I don’t keep on my spreadsheet, as it isn’t my profit. I put all of it straight into the savings account.
I sold a few of his games this week, but I am going to make a separate post on those because I was shocked at what some of them were worth.
This is the sales breakdown of week 7

As you can see, clothing was only 10% of what I sold this week.
It got me thinking, video games might be a good thing to start sourcing.
But more on that in the next post.
